Miss Biddy, bless her heart, was an ornery old woman who lived alone in a historic Savannah mansion. What she lacked in congeniality she more than made up for with her Benne Babies -- deliciously sweet maple and sesame wafers that had the entire neighborhood making up excuses to call on her. Today it is our pleasure to bake her uniquely southern treats and unlike Ms. Biddy, we do it all with a big ol' smile! Bon apetit, y'all!
